ASTM E-84 Remains The Standard To Meet. September 2006 will always be known as the weekend that saw the ASTM indefinitely delay efforts to put reflective insulation under the requirements of the NFPA 286 Full Room Burn test. Code officials recognize the strides that the Reflective Insulation industry is making to ensure the safety of their products. ASTM E-84 will remain as being the relevant fire test standard, however the mounting methods involved, will be reviewed. |
